Micromax is yet another Chinese tech brand that delivers quality and affordable mobile devices. We know it mostly for the CyanogenOS devices and the numerous phones and tablets that offer great value for money. This time, here’s another model that is expected to sell in its key markets like China and India—the Canvas Tab 4G tablet.
Micromax Canvas Tab 4G is more of a phone-tablet (phablet) that boasts of a large 8-inch HD IPS screen for a better media viewing and entertainment. It also comes with the DTS Sound Technology that offers quality sounds that audiophiles will appreciate. Onboard storage is 16GB only but can be expanded with a microSD card up to 32GB.
The Canvas Tab 4G is powered by a 1.3GHz MT8321A quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, and a 4000mAh battery. When it comes to imaging, the smartphone features a 5MP rear camera with flash and autofocus and a 2MP front-facing selfie shooter. Device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
Making this Micromax device more special is the fact that it can do voice phone calls. With its size, it’s actually more of a tablet. Interestingly, this one can still be a good choice because you can already make calls with the Canvas Tab 4G.
