It’s not a typo. There really is a brand called as Meitu. Meizu is different so don’t be confused. The Meitu V7 is the latest from the Chinese OEM that has released a number of Android phones already since–believe it or not–year 2014. We remember the old Meitu 2 with the 13MP shooters, Meitu V4 and its 21MP front camera, Meitu T8 Dual Pixel Selfie Cam, and that memorable Meitu M8 Sailor Moon phone. We can expect more great things from the brand as Xiaomi acquired Meitu’s hardware business through “strategic corporation agreement” last year.
The latest phone is the Meitu V7. It has another variant, the Meitu V7 Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition, but we’ll focus on the basic version.
The Meitu V7 boasts of an 8GB RAM and up to 512GB onboard storage. There are other storage variants available: 128GB and 256GB. It’s powerful with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor (8-core) and a 3400 mAh battery.
As in the usual premium and luxury feel and design of other Meitu phones, the Meitu V7 features leather, metal, and plastic materials. It’s like no other Android device because of the unique design and shape. You will definitely take a second look whether it’s the Blue, White, or Orange Meitu V7.
Other features include a 6.21-inch AMOLED screen, 1080 x 2280 pixel resolution, 406 PPI, Fast Charging, Android 8.0 Oreo topped by MEIOS 4.5, MTengine, and dual Nano SIM support.
