Here you jonesing for a new Bluetooth headphones to go along with your new smartphone or audio playing device (well, even if it’s an old one actually)? If you’re a fan of the Marshall brand, then you might consider their newest one, the Major II Bluetooth headphones which is now finally available in the US. It may look like just any other Marshall headphone, but it does offer quite a few treats, including pretty good wireless connectivity through Bluetooth APTX.
Headphones with great pads are always a good thing, especially if you listen to a lot of music or watch a lot of videos. The comfortable pads of the Major II is pretty good, and even the headband of the device is not that cumbersome. But of course the more important part of any headset is the audio quality it can give you. The Bluetooth APTX technology makes sure that there is little latency between whatever your audio source is, and your headphones receiving said audio.
If you don’t want to go wireless, then you can still use a 3.5mm jack to connect to your source device. Or if you want to still use the wireless bit but want to share the music or audio of the video you’re watching, you can use that jack to transmit audio to another pair of headphones. The analog controls on the headphones itself will let you play, pause, shuffle, and adjust volume, as well as answer calls too, if you’re connected to your smartphone.
The Marshall MAJOR II Bluetooth headphones can be bought for around $149 through the official online store of the brand, MarshallHeadphones.com. No word if there will be additional outlets where you can purchase it.
