The new Pebble smartwatches, the Pebble Time Steel and the Pebble Time Round look pretty good already, but if you’re looking for more customization options, you can now add metal bands for a “dressier, more premium look and feel”. They are now available in various options and colors, and can be ordered through their official online shop and will be shipped in around 6-8 weeks. But for those who chose to get metal bands during the Kickstarter phase for the Time Steel, you’ll get yours ahead of time of course.
For the Pebble Time Round metal bands, if you have a 14mm model, you can get the mesh style, with the option to choose from black, silver and rose gold (which seems to be the color of the moment for tech brands). If you have the 20mm model, you have the link style available in either black or silver.
If you have the Pebble Time Steel smartwatch, the 22mm-wide link style has three finishes namely, Gunmetal Black, Silver, and Gold. They can actually also work with the Pebble Classic and Pebble Time, if you have the 22m model as well. If you already have an existing order for either the Pebble Time Steel or Pebble Time Round with a leather band, just place a separate order for the metal band if you want something other than that original band.
The metal bands will be shipped first to the Pebble Time Steel Kickstarter backers and those who pre-ordered. After that, other orders will then start shipping so expect 6-8 weeks before shipping. Each of the metal bands costs $99.
