Ah-nold reveals that he’s always wanted to be a Waze “voice talent” since he believe that The Terminator is “the perfect machine” to help you to your destination. And since apparently, everyday people ask him to record his most famous lines for their answering machines or voice mail message, might as well do it officially for an app that is used by millions of people all over the world.
Waze says that celebrity voice prompts are some of their most popular features. “We are thrilled to offer such an unmistakable voice and entertain drivers en route to the movies this summer,” said Waze spokeswoman Julie Mossler. And with a cultural icon like Schwarzenegger adding his considerable talent, it will probably one of the most downloaded voice navigation.
To be able to have the special Terminator voice command, go to settings, sound, then voice language and choose it to guide your way. The good news is that it is free of charge. And who knows, it just might inspire you to watch the latest Terminator movie.
