If you don’t like games that would need you to press a lot of buttons and stuff, then this new one button platform puzzler should be something you should try out. illi is a new game from Set Snail, who previously brought to you Daddy Long Legs and Pack a Puzzle. This time, you have a weird-looking but cute alien or creature that will defy gravity and jump through portal to collect crystals, if you press the single button correctly.
There is no heartbreaking back story for illi, a fluffy looking creature that looks like a cross between a goat and a slug. All you need to know is that it has to collect these light crystals as you make it jump through portals into barren planets and escape traps and obstacles that it will encounter along the way. But every world that you go to has different mechanics and of course it is more difficult than the last.
There are 60 different levels that you have to go through and more than 170 quests that you would have to complete. The environments are colorful and vivid, the controls are pretty easy, but as with a lot of games like this, it is extremely difficult to master. You need to make sure that you time your jumps correctly so illi will land on a platform and not float into outer space.
The game was on beta for the past few months, but now it is available for everyone. You can download illi from the Google Play Store for free but it does offer in-app purchases.
