An Irish company called Locle has announced its new social networking service for the Android platform. The service is also reportedly available for the iPhone as well. The Locle platform allows a new Friend Finder app to operate.
If the app were integrated with Facebook or Twitter, you would be able to tell when your friends from either service were near. The users would also get popups that tell them when their friend is within a certain radius.
The company behind the service says it can be used for dating, live music, and travel among other things. The app might be a good way for social networking users to take their online pals into the real world.
