Just two months ago, Samsung announced that it was partnering with indie game developers for the Made for Samsung program, providing them with tech and marketing support in exchange for making mobile games that will be exclusive for Samsung devices. The first result of that partnership is finally out in the market, or rather, the Samsung market. The game Link Twin is now available exclusively through the Galaxy Apps store and can only be played of course on Samsung smartphones and tablets.

Called the Games for Samsung program, it was an extension of the program that Samsung created for developers to make game and services exclusive for the OEM’s users, but this time, they focused on game developers. The first game under the program is called Link Twin, and it is a minimalist puzzle solving game with minimalist aesthetics. In fact, it will remind you a lot of the popular puzzle game Monument Valley, which is actually a good thing since that game has not just been highly downloaded but also critically acclaimed.

The game trailer shows twin girls (duh) dressed in red but don’t worry, it’s not a horror movie where they stand in hotel hallways scaring other children (The Shining reference, in case you didn’t get it). The challenge with this game is that the twins move together, so you’re not just controlling one character, but two and they are forever linked. It sound simple on paper but in reality, it’s a bit difficult.

You will be able to download Link Twin only from the Galaxy Apps store on your Samsung device. Here’s to more new games from the Game for Samsung program.
