We’re just a few days away from learning the official specs and details of the Samsung Galaxy S10 family but we’re still not running out of rumors and leaks about the entire line. We now know most of what to expect but what we still don’t know are when to expect them in the market. A pre-order page in the Samsung Philippines site for the Limited Edition Galaxy S10+ shows the street date to be March 15 so we might expect the global release around that date as well.
The date on the pre-order page is only for the Limited Edition Galaxy S10+ so it means we might see the other models, the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e launch later or earlier or even all at the same time. It might also be different in other markets but traditionally, Samsung launches its flagship devices globally at around the same time so March 15 is a good marker as to when we can expect to buy it in stores.
As for the specs that we know so far about the Limited Edition Galaxy S10, it will supposedly have the 1TB UFS chips for mobile devices that Samsung recently announced. It will also reportedly have 12GB of internal storage which is a lot of course and currently, only the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT has that much storage but it’s only available in China.
As for pricing, there wasn’t any indicated in the pre-order page but some of the rumors that are going around indicate that pricing for the four devices will be as follows: Galaxy S10 will be $900, Galaxy S10+ will be $1,000, Galaxy S10+ Limited Edition will be $1,500 and for those that are looking for a budget version, the cheapest you can get is the Galaxy S10e at $750. A rumored 5G device might arrive later this year.
All will be known, hopefully, at the Samsung Unpacked event happening this February 20. The event will be streamed on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
