LG is set to release two new smartphones in a few weeks for subscribers (and future subscribers) of AT&T. The G Vista™ 2, the follow-up to the popular G Vista device will be available through the carrier by November 6, while the LG V10™ will be available for online orders by October 27, but will also hit the physical store shelves by the 6th as well. This way, customers can have different smartphone options available for them, aside from just the flagship or the entry-level devices.
The LG V10™ is actually the first smartphone that will offer US customers a built-in real-time manual video mode. Usually you would find this capability in apps like Periscope, Meerkat, etc, but with this new device, you can directly stream from your device’s 5MP dual front cameras or the 16MP main camera. The smartphone has a 5.7-inch QHD IPS Quantum display and runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. It has a 64GB internal storage which you can still expand to 2TB through a micro SD card. The V10 also has an “always on” second screen that gives you easy access to your apps and notifications.
Meanwhile, the LG G Vista™ 2 is also 5.7 inches with a full HD IPS display and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor . The difference is that it has a curved back for easier holding, plus an embedded stylus so you can write and draw whichever way you want on your device. The camera is slightly lower as it only has a 13MP main one and a 5MP selfie cam. It has 16GB internal storage that can be expanded only to 32GB. This one has Dual Window mode for your multi-tasking needs.
The LG G Vista™ 2 can be bought through AT&T’s Next program for as low as $14.97/month for 30 months. If you go on a two year contract to the carrier, you can get it for just $49.99. The LG V10™ can also be purchased through Next, with the lowest at $23.24 for the next 30 months. It is available for $249.99 for a two-year contract with AT&T. You get a free 200GB memory card, extra battery and battery charging cradle for a limited time only when you purchase the V10™.
