The T-Mobile UK website has today set up a teaser website for the upcoming LG Optimus Black Android phone that was previously teased at CES 2011. This phone is packed with a 4 inch NOVA display, Android 2.2 Froyo, and will be later upgradable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
This phone is also extremely thin at 9.2mm at its thickest, tapering down to 6mm at its thinnest point. The NOVA panel for the display is said to save 50 percent power verses a regular LCD, but blasts light at 700nits brightness. Furthermore, LG Optimus Black has a 1,500mAh battery, 2-megapixel camera on the front for video calls, and WiFi Direct technology, and Gesture UI which recognizes lifting, shaking and tapping, for taking calls, entering camera mode, or playing music.
