For all those 3D fans that might also be in Europe we have good news from LG today. After initially revealing their new Optimus 3D Max at Mobile World Congress, where we got hands-on here, today they’ve announced it is available starting today across Europe for those looking to get in on that 3D action.

It has been available for a few weeks in other markets, but is now widely available across Europe while stateside we wait for more details. Previous FCC filings leads us to believe the new Optimus 3D Max will be hitting AT&T here soon, but nothing has been formally confirmed by either party.

For those interested, the Optimus 3D Max will have a 4.3-inch screen with a WVGA resolution and the rest of the specs are very similar to the original Optimus 3D. That includes the 4.3″ screen, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and dual 5 megapixels cameras on the rear. The processor is slightly faster, but only by a hair. The two downsides are the small 1,520 mAh battery, and that we still have Android 2.3 Gingerbread with this latest model. Hopefully we’ll hear steps for an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich soon. Stay tuned for a US release in the coming months.
