The new LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE is now available in South Korea. This isn’t exactly a new series but rather an improved version of the LG G Pad 8.3 tablet released two years ago. This year’s version now comes with LTE connectivity, a Full-HD IPS display, 2GB RAM, and a more powerful Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor by Qualcomm.

This Android tablet from LG features an 8.3-inch screen, 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, 16GB onboard storage, 8MP main camera with autofocus, 2MP selfie shooter, microSD card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth v4.1, and a USB 2.0 port. Out of the box, the LG tablet only runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop but it should be able to receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow once ready. Only the brown gold variant is ready. This is only available in Korea but no word on pricing yet, as well as, possible availability in other countries. We don’t doubt though that this model will arrive in the United States via select mobile carriers.

The LG G Pad tablet line is still alive. This LTE version of the G Pad 8.3 isn’t the first in a long time. In fact, the bigger G Pad II 10.1 was refreshed a few months ago with a new Snapdragon chipset. There’s also the new G Pad II 8.0 introduced while another tablet was launched in India.
