The LG G8 ThinQ is anticipated as LG is thriving to remain in the mobile business. We’re positive the other South Korean tech company will make it because of the new tech it’s introducing–the Crystal Sound OLED (CSO). This new technology is something that we’ve heard before but only LG is able to make it a reality. The OLED screen of the G8 ThinQ acts as an amplifier. It’s like the idea of Samsung Galaxy S10’s screen working as an audio speaker before.
The LG G8 ThinQ is no longer a secret as the company has been making small announcements the past few weeks. The big reveal will happen at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2019) in Barcelona.
High-quality audio has always been one of the goals of LG for its premium flagship phones. This CSO transforms the display into an audio source to achieve a better sound good for watching videos or rendering games.
LG developed CSO with audio company Meridian to work as a diaphragm that will produce sound with high volume and clarity. Bass is also impressive. All these are made possible by the 2-channel audio setup.
Expect the next LG phone to deliver the following: DTS:X 3D Surround Sound, Hi-Fi Quad DAC, Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) support, and a Boombox Speaker.
LG is positive the LG G8 ThinQ will capture the hearts and ears of the audience. LG Electronics SVP and head of product strategy Chang Ma had this to say: “Our commitment to driving smartphone audio to new heights is on clear display in LG G8 ThinQ. By developing new technologies as well as working closely in partnership with the audio industry’s best partners, LG will continue to deliver the quality of sound that consumers demand and deserve.”
LG will be showcasing the LG G8 ThinQ with Crystal Sound OLED (CSO) at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. Visit LG’s booth anytime from February 25 to 28.
