If you’ve been dying to get your hands on the LG G5 which was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress last month, then you just need to count the days until you can finally purchase one. The global sales for LG’s newest flagship will start by March 31, and you can expect carriers everywhere to offer bonus freebies for the first modular smartphone. T-Mobile for one is offering battery and camera accessory freebies for a limited time.
The LG G5 made a splash at the MWC when it showed off a device that can actually connect with several LG accessories that will be sold as well. But who’d want to buy when some of these will be offered as freebies to entice you to buy the modular smartphone. Some of these freebies include a camera controller that will make your camera phone into a digital single-lens camera. You can also get a battery pack worth $100. One of the accessories that you can connect to the LG G5 is the LG 360 VR which will be available soon as well.
The freebie accessories depends on the country and carrier of course. If you’re in the US and want to get a T-Mobile account, then now is a good time to do so. You can start ordering the LG G5 at their online store by March 29, before the nationwide launch on April 1. If you buy it before April 17, you get the LG Battery Bundle, with an actual battery and docking station. But if you buy it before April 5, you’ll get the LG 360 VR for free (its actual value is $200, so yey!)
You’ll be able to get the LG G5 on T-Mobile for $0 down, spending just $26.25 over the next 23 months with the 24th payment $.01 cents cheaper at $25.24 (FRP: $629.99). No other announcements yet as to the deals with other carriers.
