The latest version of the Marshmallow software update is now available for the LG G Pad X 10.1. The model V930 of the LG Android tablet from AT&T can be updated to the newest version. The tablet was launched almost a year ago. It was also the first ever Android tablet to support AT&T’s NumberSync feature while an 8.0 variant reached T-Mobile earlier this month.

The software update brings the newest Marshmallow features plus updates to several AT&T Services. You’ll notice the new Setup & Transfer and AT&T Locker 2.0. Don’t be surprised if you won’t see Keeper and Kindle as default apps because AT&T removed them already. Other changes and enhancements include the addition of DIRECTV VPL and AT&T Messages VPL. AT&T Mail is now a VPL while Ready2Go has been replaced with Setup & Transfer. Also note that myAT&T is now a full preloaded app and not just a weblink.

If you want the latest version of the software, connect to WiFi and fully charge your phone first. Go to Settings> About tablet> Update Center> Software update > Update Now. Follow prompts to proceed with download and installation. The tablet will reboot automatically after installation is fully over.

Here are more details about the latest software update: Android 6.0 version, MPSS.DI.2.0.c2-00110-M8974AAAAANAZM-1 (Baseband Version), Kernel version 3.4.0, MRA58K build number, and V93020f software version. Make sure you have at least 869MP of free memory on the mobile device.
