LG is looking to further expand its wireless audio product line by announcing two new additions, a few weeks ahead of the IFA 2015 in Berlin. The LG Music Flow P5 is a rectangular wireless speaker that does not compromise on sound quality despite its size. Meanwhile, the SoundPop 360 is for the more trendy user as it has a unique shape but also claims to maintain the sound quality that can come from LG.
LG’s Music Flow series boasts of the Auto Play feature and the newest kid on the blog, the Music Flow P5 also supports that. This means that when the audio source comes within range of the portable speaker, it will automatically play. It can actually last 15 hours with continuous playback on a single charge. But even though it is small, LG assures users that the size is deceptive and that it is as powerful as its bigger counterparts.
Meanwhile, the SoundPop360 may not look like a speaker and may be mistaken as a coffee tumbler. But that’s because it was actually inspired by one and LG says it fits “naturally” into the user’s daily life. Just make sure you don’t pour coffee on it or don’t connect your smartphone to an actual coffee tumbler. But the cylindrical speaker actually has a 360 degree music range so you can use it at a party or gathering and everyone will still be able to appreciate the music you’re playing. It can also last up to 20 hours on a single charge.
LG’s advanced wireless audio products have additional features like Multi Point, where you can connect Bluetooth speakers to other devices simultaneously. Another feature is Dual Play where two speakers can connect to one device for more sound options. The TV Sound Sync feature allows your speakers to connect to a Bluetooth-compatible TV. Both new speakers will be available on display at the LG booth during the IFA on September 4-9.
