As reported last week, the new Lenovo K5 Note has finally launched in India. This mobile device isn’t released to rival the yet-to-be-announced Galaxy Note 7 but more to compete with the Redmi Note 3 by Xiaomi. Lenovo has teamed up with Flipkart to release the smartphone in India. This full metal body phone comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, 3/4GB RAM, and a 32GB built-in storage.

The new Lenovo smartphone comes equipped with a MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755M processor, 4x 1.8GHz + 4x 1GHz Cortex-A53 CPU, Mali-T860 GPU, and a 3500mAh battery. When it comes to imaging, there’s the 8MP front-facing camera and 13MP rear camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus). Audio quality isn’t compromised even with the single speaker found at the back compared to the K4 Note’s stereo speakers at the front because of the Dolby Atmos audio technology used.

Lenovo K5 Note also boasts of a fingerprint sensor and runs Android Marshmallow out of the box. We’re not sure though which version of the SOFTware or if it will be eligible for the Nougat update later this year.

Pricing is set at INR 11,999 for the 3GB model. That’s about $179 in the United States. Meanwhile, the 4GB variant is listed with a INR 13,499 ($202) price tag. Unit will be available in black, gold, or white.
