The list we showed you earlier of the Lenovo handsets being prepped for Android 6.0 Marshmallow included two Lenovo A7000 devices. We thought it may be just another variant or a mobile carrier specific model but apparently, the other one is actually the Lenovo Vibe X3 Lite. Obviously, this will be a “lighter” version of the Lenovo Vibe X3 which was released a month ago.
We mentioned the Lenovo Vibe X3 would come in three variants and this Lite could just be one. It’s probably the “youth” version we mentioned that would feature specs toned down and with a cheaper price. The Lenovo Vibe X3 Lite features a 5.5-inch a 1080p screen, two 1.5-watt Dolby Atmos speakers with TI OPA1612 amps, Sabre 9018C2M DAC, MediaTek processor, and a 16MP selfie shooter and a 23MP/4K rear camera combo.
To review, this new Lenovo smartphone features dual SIM support, microSD card slot for storage expansion, 4G LTE connectivity, and a very special audio system. If we are to believe the specs listed before, this Lite as the youth version would also have 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage, and a 3,400mAh battery.
When it comes to pricing, the 64GB model of the Lenovo Vibe X3 Lite will cost $470. The 32GB variant will be cheaper at $390 and another one very much more affordable at only $300. This new Lenovo smartphone will have the Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed or if not, be able to received the software update according to schedule.
