When you see a game called Blood Collector, you would automatically think it involves a vampire or a blood bank in desperate need of donations. But zombies wouldn’t probably figure in the top five if you tried to guess which creatures would be in the game. But that’s exactly what the game is all about, as your task is to lead the walking dead to their, well, real death because someone need to collect their blood for some experiment.
The side-scrolling puzzle platformer tasks the player to collect a certain amount of blood each level. You do this by leading the zombies, walking across the screen with no purpose other than to just move very slowly, to a spinning giant blade where they are chopped to pieces and their blood collected. What the blood is for is not fully explained, but it’s probably to find some cure for “zombieism”. You don’t have to meet the goal to move on to the other level, but then you won’t get the perfect 3-star score and that means less points/money.
There are also certain limitations per level and so it becomes harder as you go along. There are four difficulty levels and you can unlock one level after finishing the previous one. You can also use different types of actions that you can make the zombies do, but then that would cost some of the energy that is given to you on each stage.
You can download Blood Collector from the Google Play Store for free. The first 15 levels are free to play, but for the next 45, you would need to make an in-app purchase to be able to play.
