Google Play Games can get even better and more fun with Play Games v3.7. The app brings automatic sign-in and Gamer ID for everyone. Google is doing away with Google+ sign-in just to access Play Games but an update was recently made that switches users to the new app. Account customization is also now possible with this update.
The updated Player Games is not yet available on the Play Store but an APK is ready. This new Gamer ID system has started to rollout to some account users but a number of bugs were encountered, prompting the developers to halt release temporarily. The best way to get into the new system with less problem is by signing up for a new one.
The Play Games v3.7 lets a user create a new Gamer ID, setup account, edit profile, adding an avatar, and setting the account to be searchable if you want to reach more people. You can also enable automatic sign-in for Play Games if you want. No need to remember password or enter details every time. Other changes that may be applied can help make Google Play Games better.
Google seems to be getting busier these days. Just the other day, Newsstand and Play Movies apps were also updated.
