Geeks usually have the stigma, warranted or not, of being unhealthy because of their lifestyle. Now’s your chance to dispel that stereotype. Keeping in shape and staying healthy doesn’t require expensive equipment, pricey instructors, or gut-wrenching diets. More than anything, you’ll need commitment and discipline to stick to your running routine. Having app to help you keep track of your running doesn’t hurt either. With the FitApp Premium, you get all the benefits of a fitness tracker, and all you ever need is your phone.

No need for wearables if you take your smartphone with you for your sprint anyway. Almost all Android smartphones these days come with GPS and FitApp can utilize this to keep track of your runs as well as your locations. By keeping an eye on your performance, you can optimize your exercise as well so that you can get the best effects for your effort.

Like many running apps, FitApp yields a treasury of data, including running speed and calories burned. It can use this data to compare to different types of physical activities. You can record your progress and your insight in the app’s built-in diary. And you can even share your runs with your friends on social media.

Best of all, the FitApp is yours for free, if you get it here at Android Community Deals. The FitApp Premium version usually costs $5 but it can be yours for only $0. So grab the app, grab your running shoes, and start on your path to health.

No, it’s MUCH easier not to eat a pizza than to burn the calories from it through running. Plus, you won’t wear out your joints, overload the cardiovascular and immune system and lose the tiny amount of muscle you still have. Diet is 80%(based on my own experiences as well, not just something I read on the internet). Throw in some progressive weight training instead of running(especially long distance running).

Agree on the commitment and discipline part though.
