JBL is showcasing several new products at this week’s CES. It’s a busy week for many brands and OEMs as they bring new stuff to Las Vegas. JBL has announced a new wireless headphone series, a kid-friendly portable speaker, PartyBox Speakers, and another addition to the JBL portable speaker line. You may have a hard time choosing just one but don’t feel too overwhelmed yet because JBL is only one of the many exhibitors. Expect others to show off their products as well in the coming days.
JBL LIVE Series
The JBL LIVE Series offers the popular JBL Signature Sound in the form of a new pair of wireless headphones (image above). The pair can work with either Alexa or the Google Assistant. It offers touch-control, Ambient Aware, noise-cancelling, and TalkThru. Five models are available to bring the consumer premium audio listening experience.
JBL is confident the series “will disrupt the headphones market” especially because the prices are affordable and yet the company was able to keep the quality high. Here are the five models: JBL LIVE 650 BTNC ($199.95), JBL LIVE 100 ($39.95), JBL LIVE 400BT ($99.95), JBL LIVE 500BT ($149.95), and the JBL LIVE 200BT ($69.95). Except for the LIVE 100, all headphones are Bluetooth-enabled.
JBL JR POP
The JBL JR POP is designed for the kids. The Bluetooth speaker is colorful and easily-customizable with stickers. The multi-color lighting mode allows the lights to dance to the music. It’s durable and waterproof so you can take it with you to the beach up to five full hours. The speaker is ultra-compact and portable with the detachable strap and its size. The wireless Bluetooth streaming lets you connect to any phone or tablet.
JBL PartyBox Speakers
The JBL PartyBox 200 and JBL PartyBox 300 also offer the JBL Signature Sound for a more immersive audio experience. They have built-in light shows, mic and guitar inputs, USB Playback, True Wireless Stereo & RCA, and Wireless Bluetooth Streaming.
There’s also the JBL PartyBox 1000 that includes a 12-inch subwoofer and 1.1 kw of power. The three-way acoustic package allows for a much bigger sound. The JBL PartyBox prices are as follows: $349.95 (JBL PartyBox 200), $449.95 (JBL PartyBox 300), and $999.95 (JBL PartyBox 1000). Available in July.
JBL Flip 5
The JBL Flip 5 can last for up to 12 hours of playtime with its 4800mAh battery. The wireless Bluetooth streaming, IPX7 Waterproof rating, USB-C Charging, life-proof materials, and acoustic design all make this product a winner.
You can also use it as a speakerphone when you need to take calls. You can use it for party or adventure outdoors when you need music to get you going. Available in several colors: Desert Sand, Dusty Pink, Fiesta Red, Forest Green, Grey Stone, Mustard Yellow, Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, River Teal, Steel White, and Squad. Price tag reads $99.95.
