Huawei is set to hold a major sale of Honor phones in China. Tomorrow, November 11, check out some of the major online and offline retailers and see if that Huawei phone you’ve been eyeing is offered at a discounted price. Huawei’s Honor Gala Day 2015 is a special event where numerous Honor devices will be listed with lower prices. This event is Huawei’s own effort to raise awareness for the Honor brand not just in China but all over the world.
Huawei knows that there is a demand for Honor phones as more and more people are searching for affordable devices yet offer great performance and specs. Retailers like Alza.cz, Flipkart, vMall, and Honor.mx will be cutting prices of some Honor phones in most of Europe, Indonesia, Malaysia, and India among others. These areas mentioned are those countries where Huawei Honor phones are really popular. Other deals, vouchers, and promos are also expected to be offered by different retailers.
Why November 11? Well, 11.11 sounds cool and the fact that it’s “Singles Day” in China. In Chinese culture, they believe there is a connection between the singles and the number ‘1’. November 11 is already a popular shopping day in the country similar to Black Friday and Cyber Monday in the United States.
So is this Huawei’s subtle way of honoring the singles too? Probably the main target since they’re supposed to have the purchasing power. No significant other? No problem. Yes to more shopping money.
