The HTC Butterfly 3 specs and photos were once leaked and we thought the phone would be for the Asian market only. That was a couple of months ago and now a similar looking HTC smartphone was recently announced in Japan equipped with a 13 megapixel camera from Toshiba and a set of dual front speakers.
Listed as the HTC J Butterfly HTV31, this phone is believed to be the HTC Butterfly 3 yet to be announced this coming June. It comes with a 5.2-inch Super LCD3 display screen with WQHD resolution, Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, and a new camera technology that allows the two cameras taking photos simultaneously, as well as, edit the images to eliminate some dirt or noise for a smoother look.
The dual front speakers with Dolby audio can be found on the back and front of the display screen. Other specs include a 2GHz Qualcomm chipset, 3GB RAM, and a 32GB built-in storage. The new HTC Butterfly weighs only 162g and measures 151 × 73 × 10.1mm. Available in three colors: Indigo, Silk, and Rosso.
The HTC J Butterfly is a part of KDDI’s phone lineup for this summer. Phone is already listed together with the Galaxy S6 edge, Xperia Z4, AQUOS Series, Isai, Torque, and Urbano.
