The good old Droid Does web portal has been a reliable vector for leaked information for nearly every single DROID phone to date, and that tradition continues with the upcoming HTC DROID Incredible 4G. This third iteration of the Incredible hardware was spotted on the portal this morning with a full complement of specifications, finally laying to rest the rumors surrounding the device. The site also lists a price of $299, but that’s likely a leftover element from the DROID RAZR MAXX sub-site.
The DROID Incredible 4G will essentially be rebranded version of the HTC One S. An identical 4-inch QHD display, 8MP rear camera and Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense 4.0 make it seem like a very similar device, but the 8GB of storage plus MicroSD card, 4G LTE connection and 1.2Ghz processor are a little different. The phone’s also considerably thicker at 11.6 millimeters, despite a relatively small 1700mAh battery. This may be due to a new plastic case. You can see the site yourself at this link, but hurry – Verizon’s bound to take it down soon.
There’s still no word on when the DROID Incredible 4G will make it to market, but if Verizon’s preparing media elements it can’t be too long. The latest Incredible sits just below the HTC Rezound as far as marketable specifications go. There’s no guarantee that we’ll see the DROID Incredible 4G any time soon, but a previous leak had it pegged for release sometime in April. Also note that the DROID Incredible 2 has disappeared from Verizon’s listings.

As a Dinc owner (Since Day 1) this really shames the ‘Incredible’ Name… The first Dinc was Truly Incredible (The Biggest, Baddest, Fastest Smartphone Available at that moment – Sorry IPhone). Now Verizon is WAY behind the 8-Ball with their product offerings, Especially with this phone. More like the HTC One S (4″ qHD Screen) when the Rezound Specs for their screen is MUCH Better. So it has the S4 with 4.0, I would expecct an ‘Incredible’ to be a fully loaded One X with some much needed modifications (SD Card / Removable Battery). Doubt the price is accurate, more like $200. Guess we’ll be staying withthe Dinc / 3G until something Really Incredible happens…
I’m in the same boat. OG DINC, waiting for something better. The One X was going to be it until it didn’t come to Verizon… I’m still waiting for something better.
