Huawei’s Honor group is ending the year right by launching a new phone–the Honor View20. This is the same phone introduced earlier this year together with new innovative mobile technologies. The View20 is the company’s first ever smartphone to be powered by a Kirin 980 processor and a dual-NPU. It’s available for the global market and ready with the highest definition camera found on smartphones–a 48MP rear shooter. The phone boasts a large bezel-less all-view display that is complemented by an on-screen camera.
Making the Honor View20 more special is the MOSCHINO design. The Honor team partnered with the fashion brand to deliver an aesthetically pleasing smartphone with premium specs you can’t find in any other phones.
The HONOR View20 comes equipped with a 48MP 3D TOF rear camera plus a 25MP selfie shooter. Those are advanced camera specs which are unusual for an affordable phone although the View20 is already considered a flagship offering.
Honor’s new smartphone boasts a notch-less display with 91.8% body-to-screen ratio, and an invisible nanotexture. Thanks to an advanced nanolithography technology for allowing such design to be implemented although its something that we really can’t see. We just know the HONOR View20 MOSCHINO arrives with a premium-looking design.
The HONOR View20’s imaging features are way advanced with the ultra-clarity 48MP 3D TOF rear camera with a Sony IMX586 stacked CMOS image sensor. The 3D functionality allows for a new dimension in mobile photography and videography.
The in-screen camera is similar to what the Huawei Nova 4 so you won’t see any notch here. Honor implemented the pixel transition technology (18-layer technology stack) to make things possible. We’ll see more of the Honor View20 next year at the CES 2019.
