If you’ve been dependent on HERE for your navigation needs, then you probably would want to have the latest updates even before it gets released to the general public. And of course the only way for that to happen would be if you were part of a beta testing program. While that program has been in existence for some time now, this is the first time that they are opening it up to whoever wants to join and encouraging people to actually sign up.
The HERE Maps beta program for Android is now available for whoever wants to test out and enjoy the features that the developer wants to test out first before releasing to everyone else. While a lot of these features will most likely make it to the final version, for early adapters, having first dibs to try them out is always welcome. And usually, the feedback from beta testers helps improve new features and even get suggestions for how current features can be better.
One of the newest things that they have introduced to the beta program is the bike routing feature, since there is a growing market for cyclists, not just the ones who are into the sport, but for those who are doing it for exercise or for leisure. You also have one-touch navigation and also adding another home button so it can take you from point to point if you go to these places on a regular basis.
Joining the HERE Maps beta program is pretty simple. Click on this link on your mobile device and click “Become a Tester”, then open the Play Store app on your mobile device. It will not replace your regular HERE Maps app, but instead will be a separate one, since the beta of course will not that stable yet.

This beta for Here is opened since 2015, not a new info.
