Fighting evil is almost always a requirement in most mobile games, and this new one available for Android devices is no exemption. In Nubs’ Adventure, you get to help our hero rebuild his house and fight off the evil Reds with the help of a fairy and a giant worm. Yes, it sounds so random and a bit surreal, but you’ll probably enjoy this game, if you’re into exploratory platformers that are easy to learn and not so difficult to master, but still challenging at least.
The evil Reds have destroyed Nubs’ house and so he must set out to defeat them, while trying to rebuild his life as well. With him on this journey is the wispy fairy Ally and a scarily huge worm named Brute. You get to control all three characters as they navigate their Metroidvania type of world (meaning interconnected, but if you’re not familiar with the term, just Wikipedia for the explanation). You get to solve puzzles and collect diamonds, aside from fighting the Reds, in order to eventually rebuild your house.
There are four different worlds in the game, each with their own different enemies, environments, and features (read traps) but as explained, they are also still interconnected. There are also epic boss fights to win, secrets to discover, a story that you can build from the cutscenes, and even a 9 song soundtrack to accompany you as you play.
