It seems the Lemon 3 won’t be just the only Lenovo smartphone we’ll be seeing in the coming weeks or months. There’s also the Lenovo K4 Note unveiled at the CES 2016 earlier this January in Las Vegas, and a recent TENAA certification gives us an idea that a K5 will be announced very soon. Hopefully, this new Lenovo handset will be available in China during the first half of the year.
We’re not really sure if it’s a Lenovo K5 or K5 Note but we know it will have a 5.5-inch display screen, 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, Helio P10 octa-core (1.8 GHz per core) chipset, Mali-T860 MP2 graphics processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage, a microSD card slot for expansion, 8MP or 13MP rear camera, and a 8MP front-facing selfie camera. Battery is still unknown but since the K4 Note comes with a 3,300 mAh unit, we can say the K5 or K5 Note will be equipped with something close.
Based on the Helio chipset used, we can say it will be one of the first P10-powered (10-core) smartphones to be released in the mobile market this year. Still no information on pricing and exact availability as usual but we’ll let you know soon.
