How would you like to take a peek at one gigantically long tablet with Android 2.2 or Android 2.3 on it? Here’s one right here, one we just got our hands on not a few moments ago at CES 2011 – a Hanvon HPad A116. This sassy slate has a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a resolution of 1024 x 600, and a 512M mDDR, with 2GB of internal memory. Inside you’ll find your choice of Android 2.2 or Android 2.3 (though I’m not quite sure why you’d opt for something older), and the entire system will be HEAVILY customized by Hanvon.
You’ll also see a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front of the device as well as a 5 megapixel camera on the back. There’s a microUSB port along the side sitting right near a lovely mini-HDMI port. The battery is said to play 6 hours of video or work for 8 hours under light reading conditions. This device is currently planned to be costing $350 sometime later this year. Wantsies?!
