Google remains to be the best search engine in the world. We don’t think that fact will ever change. After more than a decade of improving the search results and algorithms, Google has maintained its position in this area. It has only evolved into becoming a better and more useful engine. Oftentimes, the search engine shows that it’s really “smarter” than you.

Google knows everything. The name has even become a verb because people use it everyday from all corners of the world. It’s easily accessible from any device whether a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, or even a wearable.

Expect Google to enhance or add more features to search as it begins with using mobile-friendliness as one important ranking signal. It actually started last year and in a couple of months from now, Google will begin updating mobile search results. Google will rank websites according to its mobile-friendliness so people searching for a particular keyword or keyword phrase will get relevant search results.

Google is encouraging website designers and developers to make their websites more mobile-friendly. Google has provided a couple of resources. Check out the Webmaster Mobile Guide and Mobile-Friendly Test for more information.

Just because you follow the guidelines, it doesn’t mean that Google will rank your website high. Your site still needs to show high quality content to be considered relevant. Don’t think of fooling Google because you never will.
