If you’ve spent an inordinate amount of time just staring at and exploring the Street Views on Google Maps, then you’d probably be happy to know that from now on, you have a separate app to enjoy all the street views from around the world. Google announced that they now have a separate app for the popular Street View feature, which will have the usual 360-degree immersive imagery, photo spheres, and even allows you to upload your own images to contribute to others’ enjoyment of places far away.
If you can’t travel to your dream place, then the next best thing would be to view it through the eyes of people who have been there already. Or through a tech company that enjoys bringing live information to people. That is basically what Street View is all about. You can view hiking trails, world-famous tourist sites, observe what hotels and restaurants actually look like beyond their official websites, and other live views of places that you want to visit or are planning to visit.
In the app’s gallery section, you can view content from Google themselves, like Street View collections and images from Google Maps. You will also be able to peruse the photo spheres and images submitted by random people from around the world. And speaking of contributions, it is now easier to submit photo spheres that you’ve taken either from your hometown or the places that you’ve visited and have them published on Google Maps and Street View.
You can now download Street View from the Google Play Store for free. It will replace the Street View from Google Maps where you probably previously stalked the various locations you want to go to.

“It will replace the Street View from Google Maps…”
Does this mean Street View Will no longer be available within Google Maps? Hope not!
