Google is set to improve all its products and services. We’ve seen and heard a lot of good news and developments during the Google I/O Developer conference a couple of weeks ago. For one, there’s the Google Play Services 7.5 that will optimize Android devices with new capabilities.
Along with all those new announcements, Google is believed to be quietly asking Android users for feedback on search results and other services. We know Google is already working on to improve Google app search results as noted by Redditor SpiderDice. He noticed there’s a simple survey asking whether search results were good or not. On the next screen, this question was shown followed by the choices.
Overall, how satisfied are you with the Google Play Store’s search results?
Survey options include the following: Very satisfied, Somewhat satisfied, Neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, Somewhat dissatisfied, and Very dissatisfied. The question and the options popped up after searching for an app on the Google Play Store.
Apparently, this survey questions isn’t only for the app search results. Another redditor shared that he encountered the same in Maps the other day but with different questions about places and their popularity. Looks like Google is sending out the survey randomly to users of different Google products and services. We have no idea if this will be a random or a long-term thing but we’re glad to know that the search giant wants the customers’ feedback now. Certainly, any comment or remark will help Google’s many services and products.
