Google has just updated Google Sheets and Google Slides. The mobile Android apps now allow more productivity, making them ideal for work on-the-go. On the Google Sheets mobile app, drawing and image functionality has been improved so the sheets won’t be messed up while Google Slides app now allows audience to submit questions during a presentation for better participation and engagement.

Updates on Google Sheets are only minor but they are very much appreciated. Usual problems while using the app involve images or drawings not being shown or rendered in frozen cells. That’s quite a challenge because nobody wants to miss some images or illustrations especially since we’re talking about numbers, figures, or data. Expect the app to work more smoothly now than ever.

As for the Google Slides app, the Slides Q&A feature has been added to allow the audience or participants to give feedback or ask questions directly. This eliminates the process of having to write down the questions or asking them to the presenter. This works not only on desktop/notebook computers but also on Android and iOS devices.

The Slides Q&A can be used if a person has comment or edit access to a presentation so make sure you set the access or privacy settings to allow others to send their questions.
