Google updated the News & Weather app a few months back to look more like Google Now. Just recently, the Internet giant released another update that includes new stuff: dark color theme, curated stories from favorite publishers, searchable news, and new weather graphs.
The Google News & Weather App is one of the most useful apps on Android right now. A lot of Android users prefer this because the app boasts of coverage from more than 65,000 publications from all over the world. It also offers a personalized view of headline stories and comprehensive information about the important things you need and want to know.
There are different categories in the app: Top Stories, Technology, and Sports & Weather. A simple swipe-access can take you to the category you want to check out. For a more personalized browsing experience, you can modify the layout and choose from any of the 60 country-editions, personalized new sections, and homescreen widgets. You can even add the other news sections you want to follow like Fashion, NASA, or Hollywood. And for added information like opinion, snippets, local perspectives, related articles, and in-depth articles, tap on the story for a quick view of information available.
