Google increased app price limit on Play Store just last month and this time, minimum purchase price for apps and in-app items have been reduced. This development is expected to allow more mobile users the purchasing power and enjoy paid apps and those in-app products you may want to get to continue on with some gaming adventures.

This change will mainly benefit the Android mobile users who want to enjoy more premium apps. You see, it can be quite a challenge for some people in other countries to spend $0.99 just on one app. With this, even developers will reap benefits because it means more people are able to spend as apps are made even more affordable.

The updated Google Play pricing options are more flexible now so more content are accessible to local consumers in several countries. Google launched the reduced price scheme in India earlier this year and it’s now bringing the change to 17 more countries. Developers will have to decide for themselves if they will follow the reduced price of in-app products and premium titles.

Here’s a list of countries that can benefit from this news:

• Brazil: R$ 0.99 (was R$2.00)
• Chile: CLP $200.00 (was CLP $500.00)
• Colombia: COP$ 800.00 (was COP$ 2000.00)
• Hungary: Ft 125.00 (was Ft 225.00)
• Indonesia: Rp 3,000.00 (was Rp 12,000.00)
• Malaysia: RM 1.00 (was RM 3.50)
• Mexico: MXN$ 5.00 (was MXN$ 9.90)
• Peru: S/. 0.99 (was S/. 3.00)
• Philippines: ₱15.00 (was ₱43.00)
• Poland: zł1.79 (was zł2.99)
• Russia: руб 15.00 (was руб 30.00)
• Saudi Arabia:﷼ 0.99 (was 4.00﷼)
• South Africa: R3.99 (was R10.00)
• Thailand: ฿10.00 (was ฿32.00)
• Turkey: ₺0.59 (was ₺2.00)
• Ukraine: ₴5.00 (was ₴8.00)
• Vietnam: ₫6,000 (was ₫21,000.00)

If you’re a developer, you can change the price and lower it at the Google Play Developer Console. Head on to ‘Pricing & Distribution’ or ‘In-app Products’ to lower the price of games and apps. Don’t think this will lower your profits because it won’t. In fact, the more people are given purchasing power, the more chances for your premium app to be noticed, downloaded, and finally purchased.
