Android 7.1.1 Nougat update is now out for Pixel and Pixel XL phones by Google. We already told you about the latest software build so expect your device to receive the OTA in the next few days. We know other flagship phones don’t even have an update yet, not even Android 7.0, but at least we know that the Android team is busy with the new version. This particular build is expected to fix early problems encountered like that spotty connection with an LTE Band 4 (1700MHz).

This problem has been experienced by some Pixel owners outside the country from different carriers. Looks like Google has finally fixed the problem with the Android 7.1.1 update. Most people who were complaining about it said the issue is gone and they can connect to the Internet properly. Others in Central and South America are still seeing the problem but it should be fixed soon.

Google has been successful in fixing the issue for majority of the Pixel phone users but for others who were unfortunate, don’t worry as your carrier may be to blame. We’re not saying it’s the reason and that it’s final but we’re expecting another build will be released for you. We just know it will happen but it’s only a matter of time so let’s wait and see.
