Two weeks ago we reported that Verizon’s shipment for the Google Pixel XL was delayed because of high demand. A new ship date was listed for those who pre-ordered for the Google phone and looks like it will be delayed some more. We don’t want to say we’re not surprised but really, this is the case now for some OEMs and carriers. Sometimes, we’re tempted not to believe any promises but as you know, you really can’t predict the market.

Verizon did delay the release of Google Pixel XL from November 26 to January 13. We checked its page on Verizon and true enough, the new date information is there.

Neither Verizon nor Google has released any numbers of how many units have been sold or ordered but we believe it’s already popular. As one of the first phones by Google, we noted that it’s Android redefined by the company.

Google Pixel phones are said to be exclusive to Verizon but you can use the phone on other networks. If you get your order, you can trade it in with any T-Mobile phone. The latter will even give you half of the cost of the device.

We may have heard differing opinions and reviews about the Google Pixel and Pixel XL but we want to use the phone more extensively and for a longer time to really say if it’s worth every penny.

Choose from any of the following colors: Very Silver, Really Blue, and Quite Black. Price tag still reads $869 but you can also get it with no downpayment for $36.24 per month for two years. Order the Pixel XL straight from Verizon.
