Google is rolling out a number of updates for several apps, products, and services this year. Perhaps the tech giant is already preparing for the upcoming Google I/O happening this May. Aside from the enhancements on Google Search, Google News, and inbox for Gmail, here’s Google Keep getting some improvements. The app is one of the most widely used Google-developed programs that help busy people to take down notes during those times when a new idea suddenly comes to mind.

When you don’t have a pen and paper, you can always rely on your smartphone to save what’s on your mind. You can simply use the native notepad on your device but you may forget them later. What you need is one place for all your notes, thoughts, and ideas. The updated Google Keep is now faster to launch and use. When you’re browsing using your desktop, you can save a link to visit or read later by simply clicking on the Keep badge you see on top of the browser.

Google Keep 2

The Android version of Google Keep has been updated to allow new notes to be created even when another app is open. No need to launch Google Keep because the ‘Share via’ function is enough. As with similar apps, you can organize files with #labels.

Searching for related notes is easier with hashtags. Some other changes include snooze presets when setting special reminders and a new settings screen found in the nav menu when you need to access  other list settings.
