If you’re a huge fan of Outlander, American Gods, and Power, then you probably want to have easy access to your shows without having to manually open apps or devices. If you have a Google Home smart speaker and a Chromecast-enabled TV, then you’ll now be able to yell at it to start playing one of those shows among others as you now have support for the Starz streaming service. They’re only the seventh video streaming app that is now supported on Google Home.

Previously, only the following streaming apps can be accessed on your Google Home, if you live in the US: Netflix, YouTube TV, CBS All Access, CWTV, HBO Now, and Viki. Now you can welcome the Starz app, home to hit shows like Outlander and American Gods and new series Counterpart to your TVs just by asking your Google Assistant from your smart speaker to start playing it on your Chromecast-supported TV. The app also has movies like Star Wars, Spiderman: Homecoming, and “classics” like Home Alone in its library.

To add Starz, go to your Google Home app, tap the More settings in the menu, and go down to the Videos and Photos section. You will now be able to see Starz among the third-party services that you can link to your smart speaker. Just follow the steps and log in to your account, or if you don’t have one yet, you can get a 7-day free trial and then afterwards, you pay $8.99 per month.

The most unusual thing about all of this is that Google Home still doesn’t support Google Play Movies. There is no official explanation as to why this is.
