SORT of, I’ve got to say, sort of, as this is not technically a church or a synagogue, but the normal Building 44 with a bit of the ol’ Android green plastered inside and out. What we’ve got here is a case of Androidification, where normally there’d only be a few lawn ornaments, now the building itself has begun to turn green. With an arch like this, it’s almost as if they’d planned the construction for the logo to fit inside. But will this monster walk?

Arms plastered on the outside and body stuck up on the inside, this is more than likely the new world record holder for tallest Android, and Google, not to be outdone by any contenders, is of course the creator. In addition to the flatness, there’s a bit of 3D to this installation as well: two antenna that pop up from the sides, made almost certainly for projecting t-shirts and free Nexus phones off into space. Now what’s to stop Android from calling itself leader of this planet.

Also now I ask you – if you had a four story Android paster like this, where would you put it? Such an amount of green certainly has no place in the home of mere mortals. Instead we must speak with those who would control the search engines of this earth and ask them to keep it safe. No king kong action here, thank you!

The photo here comes from the Picasa album of Dan Morrill. It appears that he caught the building in mid-change, that Android sign by the door looking mighty loose at the moment.
