If you love playing games (and we mean actual digital games), then you probably would want to know all the latest news, like new releases, updates, rumors on upcoming game, etc. While there are a lot of available news curating apps out there, if all you want to know is game-related news, then you might want to check out this new app called GameFans. It basically brings all the curated relevant content to your Android smartphone and tablet so you don’t need to search for what you actually want to read.

GameFans has a “team of experts” that sift through all the related news that might be of interest to gamers. Those who are using the app will be able to upvote or down vote the articles so we can have an idea as to which stories are important or interesting. Some of the topics that are covered by the app include brand like Nintendo, Playstation, Xbox, and topics like virtual reality gaming, PC gaming, mobile gaming (smartphones, tablets), and other related topics.

The app is still in beta mode for now so you might start a wishlist of features or UI changes that you’d like to see. The developers admit that they wanted to put out something in time for E3, so the app may not run as smoothly as expected. But they are very much open to comments and suggestions, which is the very point of beta.

You can download GameFans – News for Gamers from the Google Play Store for free. Feel free to upvote articles you like so this will improve their curating efforts as well.
