With the onslaught of Android tablets coming in 2011 (many Android 3.0-based), the Samsung Galaxy Tab doesn’t have quite the monopoly as it did late last year. Many carriers took note of this and have lowered the price of the tab, and T-Mobile US is finally ready to do the same lowering the price $50 on January 26th.
With both the Dell Streak 7 and LG G-Slate coming to the network soon, the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be faced with tough competition. It’s new $249 with 2-year agreement is a much welcome change.
Now that the Tab will be officially lowered at T-Mobile too, will you be picking one up? What would be your Galaxy Tab network of choice? Be sure to let us know in the comments!

I can’t quite bring myself to pull the trigger on a Galaxy Tab, but I would sure like one. If I did it, though, I would just buy whatever model I could get off-contract at the cheapest price. Then I’d use my Android phone to make a hotspot for when I wasn’t near one already. I’d probably jump on a wifi only device much quicker.
