Verizon Wireless understands the joys and pains that comes from a lot of people using a single tablet. If buying one tablet per member is not an option in your family, they are offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 from June 26. The Multi-User feature is probably the highlight of this 8-inch device which was created specifically for cases that call for multiple customisation.
The Verizon Wireless store will be offering the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 stating this June 26 for the retail price of $379.99. It has a special limited time only offer of $279.99 with a two-year new subscription. For those who already have their More Everything Plan, Verizon’s flexible data plan for subscribers that have a group of people in just one account, all you need is add $10 to your monthly access fee.
Different users will be able to create their own profile on the tablet and choose their own wallpaper design, create their own password and most importantly, choose which apps to install when they’re logged on. So there will be no more fights between the pre-teen and the teenager of the house when someone “accidentally” logs on to his/her Facebook and posts something incriminating on their wall. The middle-aged adults will also not be confused anymore as to where their important apps or documents disappeared off to.
Aside from the personalisation, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 can also serve as an entertainment hub for the mandatory family multi-media nights. It can become both a TV guide and a remote control when used with the WatchOn app. When it comes to streaming the TV shows or movies that you want to watch, it will become faster as it is already XLTE-ready, meaning it can access the fastest connection that the network can offer, depending on the location.
