The Galaxy Note 9 is Samsung’s next premium flagship product but before it arrives, expect to be introduced to mid-range smartphones from either the Galaxy J or Galaxy A series. Next to enter the mobile market are two new Galaxy J phones: the Galaxy J3 and the Galaxy J7. What’s good about these two are the premium features and affordability. That is an impressive feat but not impossible since the South Korean tech giant has been coming up with such phones that are still budget-friendly.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 features a decent 5.5-inch HD camera, 13MP selfie camera with F1.9 aperture, 13MP rear with F1.7, and a large battery. No official specs list has been posted yet but we know the features and design aren’t any different from last year’s Galaxy J7 2017 model. The improved HD screen with and more advanced camera matter already. They’re good enough if you are looking for a new mid-range device.
There’s also the Samsung Galaxy J3 phone with advanced features: 5-inch HD IPS LCD screen, 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, microSD card for memory expansion, and a 2600 mAh battery. When it comes to imaging, you can depend on the 8MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP f/2.2 selfie shooter.
The two phones are already the third-gen models of the Galaxy J3 and J7. We’ve seen the first J3 and J7 back in 2016 and 2017 models were also released. These recently announced J smartphones are obviously the 2018 versions. Expect the pair to be sold just before the month of June ends in select retailers and mobile networks in the United States and other key markets.
