Anime or Japanese animation is a billion dollar worldwide industry, although it may not be to everyone’s taste. For people in North America who have limited access to series and movies from the Asian region. Funimation is the North American distributor of almost anything anime, and now they are partnering with Sony DADC New Media Solutions to create an ad-free video streaming service that will bring you as much as anime as you can possibly handle.
The service will be called FUNimation Now and will use Sony’s Ven.ue platform in order to bring non-stop anime to subscribers. It doesn’t matter what device you’re using as you will be able to enjoy more than 400 simulcast and catalog titles, including super popular ones like “Dragon Ball Z,” “Attack on Titan,” “Fairy Tail,” “One Piece,” “Tokyo Ghoul”, “Space Dandy”, etc. Anime fans are some of the most hardcore in the world and so they know that this is a marketable product, especially as a lot of video-on-demand services don’t carry titles like these.
The service will rollout by this February, starting with a redesigned Android app as well as some smart TV apps like for Amazon Fire TV. The app will let you cast or stream from your mobile device to any of your supported TV screens. They will also be redesigning the main website and will soon integrate more things to the gaming console apps as well.
The paid subscription plans will cost either $4.95 per month of $7.95 per month, with different features for both of course. When the service officially begins, interested users will be able to enjoy a free trial to see if this is something they would like to have and pay for on a monthly basis.

I’m confused. What have I been watching for the last 2 years and paying 6 bucks a month? Sure looks like the Funimation app on multiple devices.
