The game follows the story of one of the neural divers for hire that goes into one of Earth’s colonies in space to deal with a particularly dangerous virus there. Neural divers are elite soldiers who have the ability to separate their minds from their bodies so they can go into cyber space. This is an arcade game that has a retro feel, similar to the shmup (shoot em up) games of the 80s. This sense of nostalgia is a common theme from the new games into the market, and children of the 80s and 90s aren’t really complaining.
Neural Diver has 7 stages you have to go through to beat the viruses. Of course it starts out easy, but then slowly becomes difficult until it becomes really challenging. But the developer assures us that this game is winnable. You can acquire new weapons and add various effects as you go through the game.
