Since Halloween is just a few days away, monsters will probably be the rage again over the next few days (or for the past few weeks actually). If you like your monsters the friendly variety and those that will not kill you and may even be your friend, then you should try playing a new Android game called Minimon Masters (yes, it’s not minions, it’s minimons). It’s a monster-collecting game that is also a hack n’ slash game that will see you fighting alongside the monsters that you’ve gotten over to your side.

If you like playing Pokemon and its ilk, this game is basically like that. But instead of using them to fight for you, you will actually have to fight alongside them. So technically, it’s not really a turn-based RPG. But there’s still a strategy involved as you hack and slash your way through victory. You have 5 different attribute combinations as you figure out which of your cute (but hopefully deadly to the enemy) monsters and heroes you will bring with you. You can collect 80 types of heroes and over 200 Minimons to collect across five worlds

You have various game modes to choose from, including Adventure, Envoy’s Story (in which you can learn about the main character, and Arena (where you can battle against online players from around the world). There are also Raid Festivals where you can face bosses and also compete on a leaderboard. The Tower of Heroes meanwhile has 31 floors where you get a reward for each floor you beat.

You can download Minimon Monsters from the Google Play Store for free. There are in-app purchases available of course, although they’re not required for you to play the game.

  1. Well, this Android news site just lost a good amount of credibility to me. Promoting a P2W shovelware game that you can find 20 clones of on the Play Store is sad. Just read the 1 star comments about the game and you’ll see the picture.

You guys could at least disclose this as a paid promotion… How pathetic.
