Playing sports games in this day and age is not as simple as you just playing as your favorite athlete or even as your favorite team. There are fantasy teams, leagues, tournaments, and all other additional things that you do other than just play sports. For fans of football (or soccer, if you’re American), you probably already play FIFA on your console or your mobile device. But there is also the FIFA Ultimate Team mode which is just available on consoles. Now you have an app that can help you manage your team even when you’re mobile, the FIFA 17 Companion app.
The Ultimate Team mode is really more about building your team rather than playing them. However, sometimes, it requires more attention rather than the actual game. You need to manage your team’s training including formations and player rotation, etc, gather points to be able to transfer out or buy some players, keep tabs on all the market activity, and even purchase some packs to be able to build your club.
But you’re not always in front of your console of course and so you would need a mobile companion to help you do all that and still have a life. That’s basically the purpose of the FIFA 17 Companion App. You only need to log in using your EA credentials that you use on your PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, and PS3 where you play the full version of the game. There are also mini-games in the app, in case you get bored with just the management part of the FIFA Ultimate Team.
You can download the FIFA 17 Companion app from the Google Play Store for free. But of course you need to have the FIFA Ultimate Team on any of the consoles we mentioned for this app to actually make sense or even be used since you have to log in.
